Vietnam’s Heritage Line has announced that Upper Mekong cruises on the brand-new vessel Anouvong will resume on 1 January 2025.
We previously reported that the vessel was dry-docked to better prepare it for unusually low water conditions, and it seems these remedial modifications will be complete by December 2024.
The season delivered some challenges from this untameable Upper Mekong River, or, as the company’s chief naval engineer Mr Hieu said in a recent update, “This river is a tiger; you never know when it will bite you”.
