(photo via Tauck)Tauck is adding six new itineraries to its 2024 portfolio of European river cruises, the most new river cruises the company has ever added to its portfolio in a single year.Each of the new river cruises, which start from $4,990 per person plus airfare, will feature an included dinner ashore in a lavish setting. Notable venues include the former residence of German Empress Victoria Friedrich in the 130-year-old Schlosshotel Kronberg and the Palais Pallavicini in Vienna.Several of the sailings will also incorporate included pre or post-cruise hotel stays in new-to-Tauck cities such as Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany and Montreux and Geneva, Switzerland.The new itineraries include the 12-day Danube Kingdoms: Bavaria, Austria & Hungary featuring a four-night, land-based exploration of Bavaria; the 10-day Three Rivers: Danube, Main & Rhine from Amsterdam to Regensburg; the 11-day Rhine Connoisseur: Montreux to Brussels featuring a three-night stay at the Fairmont Montreux Palace; the eight-day Hidden Waterways of Flanders and Holland sailing from Brussels to Amsterdam; the eight-day River Seine: Châteaux, Impressionism & Normandy beginning and ending near Paris at Le Pecq and the 14-day La Belle Vie: The Rhône, Geneva & The Riviera cruising from Cannes to Geneva.Savor in Budapest.
