The programme introduces the line’s first summer season in Japan, new warm-water expeditions, and the continued growth of its Nova-class ships.
The brand’s experiential approach remains central, with itineraries curated around cultural events, natural phenomena, and regional festivals, offering guests what the company describes as “unrushed exploration and authentic immersion.”
“Silversea’s 12 ships will host guests on 414 classic and expedition voyages to many of the world’s most iconic and hidden destinations, few of which even the most discerning travellers ever get to see,” said Bert Hernandez, President of Silversea.
“We will deliver exclusive access to festivals and events that best showcase the world’s most enriching local cultures and customs, including the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, the Monaco Grand Prix, and Japan’s Awa Odori festival,” he added.
The deployment introduces 30 new dedicated Silversea events that coincide with global celebrations such as Bastille Day, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, the Puccini Opera Festival in Italy, and the San Sebastián Street Festival in Puerto Rico. Guests will also experience natural events such as the Northern Lights, cherry blossom season, and the Antarctic summer.

Silversea’s expedition programme continues to expand with new voyages to Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Great Barrier Reef, alongside established routes in the Galápagos, Arctic, and Antarctica. The collection also features enhanced fly-cruise options, new pre- and post-cruise land extensions, and expanded City Stays.
The 2027/28 season will see Silver Nova and Silver Ray operate a combined 68 voyages in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Central America, while Silver Muse takes the brand into its first-ever Japanese summer season with six combinable sailings. Across the wider fleet, voyages range in length from six to 77 days, reflecting a growing trend toward flexible and modular itineraries designed to encourage longer travel without duplication.
Silversea’s latest programme continues to build on its focus on destination-led cruising, blending luxury travel with deeper cultural and environmental engagement — from remote expeditions to globally celebrated events.
