The Disneyland Resort in California announced several
popular attractions would be temporarily closed for refurbishment in June.According to Disney insider Scott Gustin, three Fantasyland
attractions—Peter Pan’s Flight, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and Alice in Wonderland—and
a California Adventure ride—The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure—will
close to the public on June 5.Beginning June 5, Peter Pan’s Flight, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and Alice in Wonderland at Disneyland Park will be closed for refurbishment. Reopening dates for the rides and attractions have yet to be
announced.Last week, the Disney
Vacation Club opened its first-ever Member Lounge at Disneyland, with
members enjoying amenities such as a dedicated Member Services team,
comfortable seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, device-charging stations and
complimentary soft drinks.
Earlier this month, Disney revealed that a new real-life
one-act musical theater production of “Rogers: The Musical” will debut at the Hyperion
Theater at Disneyland’s California Adventure Park for a limited time, starting
on June 30.In March, Disneyland continued its ‘Disney100’ celebration
by reopening the redesigned Mickey’s
Toontown, which was reimagined with new features and fresh ways for young
children and their families to explore, play and unwind together.
