The launch will follow the debut of VIVA Beyond in 2026 and will become the second vessel in the company’s boutique series.The 152-passenger ship will operate seven-night itineraries themed around food, culture and art, offering a new way to explore northern. Highlights include time in Venice, as well as calls to the lagoon island of Mazzorbo Burano, with optional excursions to Murano and Torcello. The ship will call at Chioggia, known for its fishing traditions, and Polesella, where guests will be able to take trips to Verona or Bologna.Sailings will also visit Taglio di Po with excursions into the UNESCO-listed Po Delta, and in some cases Cremona and Mantua – cities famed for their musical and architectural heritage.
VIVA UNIQUE will feature three dining venues: Moments, an Italian-inspired fine dining restaurant; Tratorria, a more relaxed venue serving Mediterranean dishes; and the Riverside restaurant with international cuisine and views of the passing scenery.Accommodation will include a high proportion of suites, among them new “Unique Suites” measuring up to 30 square metres. Facilities on board will include a wellness area, fitness room and a sun deck with pool.Andrea Kruse, CEO of VIVA Cruises, said: “Italy has always held a special place in my heart.
