MSC World America will debut several new features tailored to meet the preferences of the US market and enhance the onboard experience for guests when she debuts in Miami in April 2025.
The second vessel in MSC Cruises’ World class platform, the largest class of ships ever built for the cruise line, MSC World America will introduce a variety of new bars and lounges, a sports bar, a comedy club, and reimagined dining options.
A signature design feature of the vessels in the World class are their seven unique districts, each designed to cater to different age groups and preferences, offering guests the ability to choose their ideal vacation experience.
MSC World America
These districts provide a wide range of entertainment and relaxation options, ensuring that each guest finds something tailored to their tastes, and aboard MSC World America these distinct areas will feature a range of experiences designed specifically for the North American market.
One of the new offerings is the All-Stars Sports Bar, located in the Promenade district. This venue will feature live broadcasts of sporting events, as well as a menu that includes wings and sliders.
Guests can also engage in interactive activities like digital shuffleboard, foosball, and darts. The bar is designed to create an electric atmosphere, with the option to step out onto the terrace to take in the ocean views.
All-Star Sports Bar
The ship will also feature The Loft, a multi-purpose venue located in the Terraces district. This adults-only space will host comedy shows, karaoke nights, and live performances, offering guests an option for late-night entertainment in an intimate setting.
The Loft will be the first comedy club aboard any MSC Cruises’ ship, and brings the cruise line into the same class as Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Princess, Celebrity Cruises and Disney, all of which host dedicated comedy clubs at sea.
Several other bars and lounges on MSC World America have been reimagined to appeal to American guests. The Elixir Mixology Bar, which first appeared on MSC World Europa, will return with a focus on bourbon-based cocktails and craft spirits, alongside other popular options.
Masters of the Seas, a British-style pub, will include MSC’s second full-scale microbrewery at sea, featuring beers made from desalinated sea water. These brews, crafted with American hops, are tailored specifically to US, rather than European, tastes.
The Gin Project will offer guests a menu featuring 20 craft gins, sourced mainly from American and Canadian distilleries. Guests can enjoy classic botanical cocktails or experiment with the selection of fruity, floral, and citrus flavours.
Additionally, Coffee Emporium will provide a variety of high-quality brews, including French, Italian, Turkish, and Moroccan styles, appealing to coffee enthusiasts.
MSC World America will also enhance its Sweet Temptations venue, first introduced on MSC World Europa, offering a wide range of treats, including handcrafted milkshakes, gelato, frozen yogurt, and self-serve ice cream bars at the heart of the Promenade district.
MSC World America will spend her inaugural season cruising roundtrip from PortMiami to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line’s private island in the Bahamas, and other Caribbean destinations.
