Today, Disney Cruise Line posted to the line’s Australia and New Zealand Facebook and Instagram pages a “fond farewell for now” statement with the following caption:
It’s a fond farewell for now: Make unforgettable memories during this last season in Australian and New Zealand waters, sailing from October 2025 – February 2026. Bring the whole family and your friends for an unforgettable holiday filled with Characters, stories and moments you will treasure forever.

The Disney Wonder is scheduled to begin her journey to Australia on September 23rd following the Alaskan season departing Vancouver sailing to Hawaii. On October 3rd, the ship will depart Honolulu for Sydney where the Wonder will arrive to begin the final season in Australia and New Zealand sailings on October 19, 2025. Some of the sailings are part of the recently announced 50% off cruise fare for the 3rd and 4th guests.
According to Disney Cruise Line, there has been overwhelmingly positive feedback from guests following the previous seasons in Australia and looks forward to welcoming guests this upcoming season.
The Disney Wonder is scheduled to embark on nearly 30 sailings from Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland from October 19th through January 30th. On February 2, 2026, it will set sail across the Pacific Ocean, heading towards Hawaii before proceeding to Vancouver. Finally, it will return to the West Coast, offering guests sailings from San Diego, California, in March.
While the Disney Wonder will be re-positioned to another part of the world after its upcoming season in Australia and New Zealand, the Disney Adventure’s will begin sailing from Singapore in December 2025 offering an entirely new ship and experiences for guests in the Asia-Pacific region. The cruise line is always exploring new destinations and Australia remains an option for future ship deployments.
