Disney Fantasy August 25, 2025 Itinerary Modified to Avoid Hurricane Erin in the Bay of Biscay

Guests booked on the Monday August 25th Disney Fantasy sailing are learning the previously scheduled 4-night Spain cruise will be modified to avoid any impacts from Hurricane Erin which as of today’s National Hurricane Center’s 11 o’clock update is tracking towards the Bay of Biscay. The latest 5-day forecast tracks shows the system in the Atlantic on Monday, there is potential for heavy seas, wind, and rain in the area where the Disney Fantasy would be sailing.

Hurricane Erin is currently moving through the Atlantic Ocean towards Europe. Disney Cruise Linehas been closely monitoring the storm’s forecasted track. Due to the possible impacts in Europe and Bay of Biscay early next week, the decision has been made to change the itinerary for the 8/25/25 sailing of the Disney Fantasy.

Instead of the scheduled Wednesday stop at Bilbao, Spain, the ship will now visit Zeebrugge (Brussels), Belgium.

The revised itinerary is as follows:

  1. Monday August 25, 2025 – Southampton
  2. Tuesday August 26, 2025 – At Sea
  3. Wednesday August 27, 2025 – Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium (previously Bilbao, Spain)
  4. Thursday August 28, 2025 – At Sea
    Friday August 29, 2025 – Southampton (Debarkation)

Any Port Adventures that were pre-reserved in Bilbao will automatically be removed from onboard accounts. Port Adventures for Zeebrugge (Brussels) will be available to book through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and at the Port Adventures Desk, located on Deck 5, Mid-ship, once the ship sets sailing from Southampton on August 25, 2025.

Hurricane Erin is the first hurricane of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season and has already impacted sailings in The Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean.
