Today, the Disney Adventure set out to sea under tug boat assist to undergo sea trials in the Baltic Sea after spending 7 and half years under construction in Germany.

Prior to Disney’s purchase, the Global Dream at it was originally named has been in Wismar, Germany, since its construction began on March 8, 2018, at the MV Werften shipyard. A significant milestone occurred on November 23, 2019, when a 216-meter-long midsection of the ship was towed from Rostock to Wismar for final assembly. Construction was temporary halted in January 2022 due to MV Werften’s bankruptcy but resumed in 2023 under Meyer Werft for new owner, Disney Cruise Line.

I’ve created a tentative itinerary to track the ship until she is officially handed over from the shipyard to the cruise line.
The Disney Adventure, a one of a kind ship featuring innovative Disney experiences along with the all new entertainment and dining options that will be unique to the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The Disney Adventure’s Maiden Voyage is scheduled to set sail from Singapore on December 15, 2025.
