A cruise ship likely carrying thousands of passengers was stuck down by a potentially deadly vomiting bug—with holidaymakers “dropping like flies” with the infection, according to one witness.
Newsweek has reached out by email to the vessel’s operator, P&O, seeking further information and comment.

The vessel was halfway through a seven-day trip around northern Europe when the suspected norovirus outbreak erupted onboard last week. “People [were] throwing up in restaurants, on decks, outside cabins,” a passenger told Sky News.
