Confirmed: Carnival Cruise Line’s 2025 Holiday Decorations Start Date for Every Ship

Carnival Cruise Line Brand Ambassador John Heald has released the official schedule revealing which 2025 cruise sailings will feature the cruise line’s holiday decorations.

The schedule, shared on his Facebook page, shows the first confirmed holiday-themed sailing for every ship in the fleet, with decorations usually remaining in place through the New Year’s Eve cruises.
Many Carnival cruisers look forward to this annual announcement, especially those who love the festive feel of a Christmas-themed cruise.  These cruises showcase decorated atriums, Christmas trees, and seasonal events.
Holiday Decorating Begins in November
The rollout of holiday decor will begin across the fleet in late November.
The first ships confirmed to set sail with the full holiday decorations are:

  • November 21: Carnival Adventure
  • November 22: Carnival Encounter
  • November 23: Carnival Luminosa
  • November 24: Carnival Splendor

Late November into December Sees Fleet-Wide Decorations
The decorating schedule ramps up even more in December, with most ships scheduled to be fully festive by the first full week of the month.
Other ships receiving their holiday decorations in late November and early December include:

  • November 28: Carnival Conquest and Carnival Glory
  • November 29: Carnival Dream, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Magic, Mardi Gras, Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Paradise, and Carnival Vista
  • November 30: Carnival Celebration, Carnival Elation, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Pride, Carnival Spirit, and Carnival Venezia
  • December 1st: Carnival Breeze, Carnival Freedom, and Carnival Firenze 
  • December 4th: Carnival Legend, Carnival Sunrise, and Carnival Valor

New Year’s Eve Cruises Confirmed
The schedule also identifies the sailings that will host the New Year’s Eve celebrations. These voyages, which typically feature special dining and entertainment, are scheduled between December 26th and December 31st.
The New Year’s Eve cruises depart on the following dates:

  • December 26: Carnival Legend
  • December 27: Carnival Dream, Mardi Gras, Carnival Vista, Carnival Magic, and Carnival Sunshine
  • December 28: Carnival Celebration, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Pride, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Spirit, and Carnival Venezia
  • December 29:  Carnival Conquest, Carnival Breeze, Carnival Luminosa, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Glory, and Carnival Splendor
  • December 30: Carnival Adventure, Carnival Encounter, and Carnival Firenze
  • December 31: Carnival Elation, Carnival Paradise, Carnival Sunrise, and Carnival Valor
