Celebrity Cruises has unveiled a new slate of entertainment experiences aboard Celebrity Xcel, promising the most comprehensive lineup in the brand’s history when the ship enters service in November.
Featuring more than 75 resident performers, Celebrity Xcel will offer three new mainstage productions, two immersive club shows, multiple live music experiences, and a variety of interactive games and dance parties designed to run from morning until late night.

Mainstage production in The Theatre
The Theatre will host three new large-scale productions, combining music, dance, parkour, and aerial performance with cutting-edge stage technology including kinetic lighting, projection mapping, pyrotechnics, and a 110-foot curved LED screen.
Productions at The Theatre:
- Mainstage recreates the energy of the world’s great music festivals, spanning genres from dance to country, celebrating global music culture.
- Between Takes transports audiences to a 1920s Hollywood backlot where the chaos between “cut” and “action” unfolds through elaborate choreography, stunts, and changing sets.
- Chapters offers a visual and emotional journey through nature, growth, and transformation, blending music and movement in a poetic exploration of human connection.
Another entertainment venue, The Club, features two new interactive shows inviting guests to lose themselves in an earlier time and place.
Productions in The Club:
- 254 West, a retro 1980s-inspired celebration marking the final night of a legendary nightclub, followed by the 254 West After Party.
- HOTEL, a comedic cabaret-style “whodunit” set in a glamorous hotel where guests are drawn into the intrigue through bold musical numbers and surprise twists.
Across the ship, live performances and themed events will take place daily, including piano bar sing-alongs and live band sessions, such as Saddle Up Saloon, a country-themed dance party with live music. The ship will also offer a candlelit concert dedicated to classic rock anthems.
Bora, a Mediterranean-inspired day-to-night experience will feature brunch music by day and Greek and Italian ballads by night, while Shine the Night will be an open-air party where guests dress in metallic and glittering outfits to dance under the stars.
254 West in The Club
At The Bazaar, the ship’s cultural hub, four rotating festivals – Carnival, Aqua, Viva, and Flora – will bring regional music, costumes, and art from The Bahamas, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, and the Dominican Republic to life. Guests can join local-themed activities such as salt scrub making and enjoy street-style performances that change from day to day.
Interactive games and challenges will form another layer of Xcel’s entertainment:
- High Stakes, a live elimination game where players choose between “Celebrity Blue” and “Tangerine”.
- Brain Spin, a fast-paced quiz combining wheel-spinning and puzzle-solving.
- A robotics-inspired escape room tasking guests with assembling a working circuit board.
- A destination-themed mystery game involving map-based problem-solving.
- Game On at The Club, a reimagined arcade with full-body motion-controlled games projected on the floor.
- At Camp at Sea, younger guests will experience a new digital game wall with more than 50 sports and educational titles.
From November 2025, Celebrity Xcel will homeport in Fort Lauderdale, operating alternating seven-night itineraries to The Bahamas, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, and the Caribbean, before repositioning to Europe in summer 2026 for seven- to eleven-night Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona and Athens, including overnight stays in Madeira.
